Mississauga, On – Mississauga legend and centurion, former Mayor of Mississauga, Hazel McCallion also known as the Hurricane, will be showcased in a historical exhibit through art and displays in over 10000 square feet gallery. Hazel: 100 Years of Memories is a labor of love. Attended by Hazel, Leaders from across the country, in the community, family, friends, and dignitaries, opening Press conference & Ribbon Cutting has taken place at Erin Mills Town Center, Tuesday, October 26th at 12 PM. Hazel: 100 Years of Memories is an opportunity to remember, participate and celebrate interactively and immerse yourself in everything Hazel. Ribbon cutting and official opening will take place at 11am. The stories told through art and displays are an educational experience for our younger generation. A life journey of a remarkable woman who has broken barriers for most of her life, as a daughter, wife, mother, athlete, businesswoman, humanitarian, politician, and mentor. A true force to be reckoned with. Hazel has given so much to our city and continues to consult with renowned leaders who seek her counsel.

The exhibit will take place at Erin Mills Town Center until February 28, 2022. Community groups and businesses worked together to create these one-of-a-kind stories, sharing her work and love in an inclusive diverse way through art and exhibit.
