Show Highlights include:
ART BATTLE – Art Battle is live competitive painting, 16 artists selected from the fair will create the best work they can in 20 minutes. As they paint, visitors can move around the easels, closely watching the creative process. The audience votes for their favourite painting and bids in silent auction to purchase artwork.
ART CHATS – This popular seminar series offers a range of engaging talks hosted by leading art and design experts. Art Chats are complimentary with admission. Space is subject to availability.
UNTAPPED EMERGING ARTISTS COMPETITION – Presented by DeSerres, The UNTAPPED program is dedicated to supporting the development of students, new graduates, and self-taught artists. A juried competition, the UNTAPPED Competition awards 20 emerging artists from all mediums an opportunity to exhibit at a professional-level art fair for FREE. UNTAPPED Emerging Artists benefit from a dedicated feature space at the Artist Project.
ARTIST COMPETITION – Presented by Swatch, artist have a chance to enter a theme based competition to be displayed in a feature exhibit at the show. Winners are selected by a panel of jurors and visitors are also encouraged to vote in the People’s Choice Award!
